Grades 3-6

Fridays 5:00 – 6:00 PST, Starting Feb 25th

In our free introduction to Chess classes, students who have never gone to a tournament will learn all about how the game of chess works. Over the course of 8 weeks, they’ll learn different strategies and openings, culminating in a round robin chess tournament at the end of the course!

Chess Tournament

At the end of our 8 week course, students will

compete in a chess tournament organized by NorCal Robotics!

This tournament will give them a chance to test their skills against fellow students, and put all the content that they will learn through the classes to good use!
