Girls in Engineering and Management

GEM is committed to inspiring and empowering girls in STEM by creating an environment where their talents are fully valued and recognized! We, founders of GEM, Eesha Gupta and Anika Mittal, have been in STEM for years. We have seen and faced many instances where people have undermined or dismissed girls in STEM. Therefore, we are determined to help, so we created GEM, a place where girls are valued and respected, and can genuinely enjoy STEM. We hope to see you join us on this journey!

About US

We both have been in STEM for a very long time, so we have plenty of real world experience (For instance, we have been doing robotics since the second grade). We have learned different aspects of STEM concepts over the years, and we hope to pass our knowledge along to other girls.We also have teaching experience. Under NorCal Robotics, we have taught and made content for multiple STEM-related classes and summer camps. We have taken Tinker CAD summer camps, Thunkable summer camps, Canva summer camps, ACSL classes, Canva classes, Math classes, and Math Olympiad preparation classes under Norcal Robotics. We decided to branch out and make our own mission, specifically for women in STEM. Under GEM, we taught Python classes online in 2025. In 2026, we did STEM workshops for girls, and covered all parts of STEM.
